Applying for Royal Irish Academy Exams

RIAM has an online portal for exam operations. This shouldn't intimidate you or put you off from entry. It's really simple! Just follow our simple guide…

1) The first step in reserving an test is registering an account / profile with RIAM. An email address, phone number & a new password are all that's needed for the initial sign up.

2) Once the form is submitted you'll see an email arrive with a link to corroborate your email. Click on the link and sign in with your email and your new pass.

3) You'll be presented with text asking for a to verify your phone number. Check your SMS app now for the new code sent by RIAM. Enter the code on the webpage as requested. Well done! You've successfully authenticated the account.

The RIAM site will now prompt you to “ Complete Your Profile ”

1) Select Individual

2) Select Parent or Mature student

3) Select No, not an examiner

4) Fill in address information

5) Click complete profile

You're now ready to begin your entry.
